Two Sunday afternoon's ago we were supposed to meet some friends of ours for a picnic. Another couple whom we knew were also supposed to be there and two couple that they were going to introduce us to. The weather was not favorable for a picnic, so at the last minute the event was moved to one of the couple's house. It turns out we sort of knew the other two couples after all. One of them had interviewed me for article he wrote about the coffee house when it opened and I have read several of his and his wife's columns in the Tupelo Daily Journal (that is where our friends who invited us work as well). James worked with the other couple when we were all students at Ole Miss. So, despite the weather, a good time was had. Jake got to play with several children close to his age and so did we!
